When is high season in Napa Valley?
High is June - October; Ultra High is
September-October.When should
I book my hotel or bed & breakfast room nights?
Considering the time you will be here, for
high season at least 6-10 weeks in advance for hotels and
8-14 weeks for Bed & Breakfasts. A couple of things
here: Bed & Breakfasts have a 14 day cancellation policy,
meaning 14 days or less from your arrival date, your room is
treated like Opera tickets. Most hotels have 48-72
hour cancellation policy.
Should we stay at a Bed &
Breakfast or a Hotel/Resort?
In our opinion, it depends on you. Will we be
spending "a lot" of time in our room? If so, stay at a
bed & breakfast. Do you want to be closer to some
"action" with a bar at the hotel or a restaurant on site?
How far is San Francisco from
Napa?
It's about 1:15 minutes away with normal traffic; on
a Friday afternoon it could be three hours on the highways,
without getting lost.
Can you help us plan our
honeymoon? If so how much?
Yes of course. We can help you think
through your "goals" if you will for when you're here based
on your budget and help you make the most cost-effective,
time-efficient decisions for your honeymoon in Napa Valley.
It takes several phone calls and some effort on our part and
we've concluded that a flat rate is best for everyone at
$175.
We're pretty sure we know
what we want to do, where can we book it all?
